NO FCRA USE. This privately run resource is not affiliated with a local, Texas, or federal agency and is not a consumer reporting agency. Neither it nor its advertising partners offer a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other screening regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
1. What This Website Is
This is an independent reference resource. It does not hold official criminal records, run agency checks, submit public-information requests, or file court papers. It points to the Lubbock County sheriff and clerks, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and other official custodians.
Government access is controlled by applicable law, including the Texas Public Information Act, criminal-history dissemination rules in Government Code Chapter 411, and court access law and rules. Those authorities do not make this private site a government source.
2. Rules for Using This Site
Each user agrees not to:
- Violate federal, Texas, or local law
- Threaten, stalk, harass, or harm another person
- Use content for a credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other FCRA purpose
- Attempt unauthorized access to the site or its systems
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools
- Interfere with performance or another visitor's access
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Information found here or through a linked service may not be used to intimidate, threaten, stalk, harass, or discriminate. Texas registry information is published for community safety, not retaliation or vigilante conduct. Misuse of Texas Public Sex Offender Registry information can violate law and these terms.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
No consumer report, credit report, or screening report is created here. Users must not rely on this site or a linked search tool to:
- Make a hiring or employment decision
- Evaluate a renter or housing application
- Set credit or insurance terms
- Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or public benefit
- Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA
An authorized check for a regulated purpose must come from Texas DPS or another provider that lawfully supplies the required product.
5. No Legal Advice
General information about Lubbock County records is not legal advice. A licensed Texas attorney should evaluate how a charge, warrant, conviction, expunction, nondisclosure rule, or deadline applies to a particular person.
6. No Warranties
All content and functions are offered "as is" without a promise that:
- Information will always be accurate, complete, or current
- Access will be continuous or free of interruption
- Pages will contain no error, defect, or security weakness
- An outside search result will be complete or correctly matched
Charges, dispositions, custody, access rules, fees, and government contacts can change. Nothing here is an official statement from Lubbock County, a court, a police agency, or Texas DPS.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
Links can lead to government portals, legal resources, advertisers, and independent search services. Those operators control their content, data practices, charges, and availability. Review their terms before using them because we are not responsible for an outside service.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the site's original text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Lubbock County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or used to make a derivative work without prior written permission.
9. Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from access, inability to access, reliance on site content, or use of an outside link or search tool.
10. Indemnification
A user agrees to defend and hold the operator harmless from claims, demands, proceedings, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from that user's conduct, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.
11. Governing Law
Texas law governs these terms. Any proceeding connected with use of the site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Texas, subject to any controlling rule that requires a different venue.
12. Changes to These Terms
The terms may be revised. A new version becomes effective when it is posted here, and continued use after posting means the revised conditions are accepted.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be limited, suspended, or ended when necessary, including for misuse, interference, security concerns, or violation of these terms, with or without advance notice.
14. Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
